Evening readings
Local authors on the last Thursday of each month. Free admission. Tea in the back room; doors at 18:30, reading at 19:00.
Special orders
Ask at the counter. Most titles arrive within five business days. We call when they're in.
Used hardcovers
A rotating table of hardcovers from regular customers — literary fiction, nature writing, and the occasional out-of-print cookbook. Credit toward store purchases, no cash.
Children's corner
Picture books, middle-grade novels, and a small shelf of Vermont authors for young readers. Story time on Saturday mornings at 10:30.
Open late on Fridays
We stay open until 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The fiction room stays lit; the register closes at 20:45 so the last customer has time to browse without hurry.
